Shaping the future of the powerline industry at American Lineman College:

My passion for safety and skill development has culminated in my current role as a Certified Professional Trainer at American Lineman College.  With over 25 years of experience in the industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom and field, equipping students with the essential skills and safety-first mindset required for success in this challenging yet rewarding field.

As Vice President of Safety, Quality, and Training at the Desoto Group

I fostered a culture of safety and continuous learning within diverse business segments – electrical distribution, gas distribution, and vegetation management. By creating and implementing comprehensive safety programs, analyzing incidents, and promoting safe practices, I ensured every employee prioritized their well-being and contributed to a zero-incident environment.

Beyond the classroom, I share my expertise through Lineman Training and Consulting

Dedicated to educating, motivating, and empowering communities about the powerline industry, I've developed safety blogs, a leadership manual, and delivered engaging presentations at regional training conferences, high schools, and local events. This allows me to inspire others and contribute to the industry's future.

Throughout my career, I've honed my skills and gained valuable experience:

  • Developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.

  • Identifying and addressing training gaps through close collaboration with field crews.

  • Implementing comprehensive safety programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Mentoring and guiding apprentices, fostering their growth and development.

  • Performing overhead and underground maintenance, troubleshooting, and storm response.

With a dedicated work ethic and a passion for education, I strive to make a lasting impact on the industry:

  • Spearheaded the creation of the first weekend lineman program at East Central Community College.

  • Played a key role in building and consulting on lineman programs across the United States.

  • Received industry recognition for my contributions to safety training and education.

Now, at American Lineman College, I continue this mission by preparing the next generation of lineworkers to safely and expertly power our communities.

During Mr. Bradleys career, he has had the privilege to work for several utility, construction and training companies, including:

  • B&B Electrical and Utility Contractors

  • Volt Power
